THEME PARKS


Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Our ongoing collaboration with Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has resulted in many successful projects including OCEAN DISCOVERY, a design build project for an exotic animal automated life support filtration system for dolphin, penguin and ray habitats, which encompassed installation of electrical infrastructure and power distribution with required upgrades to existing 12kV.

Another design build project, THOMAS TOWN included the Thomas the Train ride and supporting retail and food service buildings.  Our annual service agreement with Six Flags Discovery Kingdom encompasses numerous small construction projects each year, yearly maintenance on park electrical and data communications infrastructure and 24 hour emergency repairs.

Nut Tree Family Park

Capitol Valley Electric provided electrical for the ground up remodel of historic NUT TREE FAMILY PARK which included installation of new electrical and low voltage distribution of multiple children's rides as well as vast site lighting and inside wiring of supporting buildings.
INDUSTRIAL

We have completed a diverse range of industrial projects including the installation of  multiple cogeneration facilities at EMERYSTATION EAST located in Emeryville, CA and the installation of  temporary high voltage construction power for MICHEL’S PIPELINE a 12kV tunneling machine used for a sewer retrofit in Sacramento County. 

Capitol Valley Electric has also performed complete survey, made recommendations and executed repairs and upgrades to the internal 12kV distribution at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

HOTELS

Our experience installing electrical for hotels includes ground up construction of the 116 guest room HILTON GARDEN INN located in Elk Grove, California, ground up construction of the 108 room HAMPTON INN located in Yuba City, California, upgrade of life safety systems and remodel of the existing COURTYARD MARRIOTT located in Fairfield, California.

DESIGN BUILD

You may have noticed many of our projects are design build, notable projects include the renovation of the historic EMPRESS THEATRE located in Vallejo, California, a pilot design build project for the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS consisting of a child daycare facility and 12KV upgrades and the NORTHBAY MEDICAL GROUP Office, a 70,000 square foot medical office building located in Fairfield, California.

COLD STORAGE AND REFRIGERATION

Capitol Valley Electric offers extensive experience in cold storage and refrigeration.  We have provided electrical for the new and remodeled COSTCO refrigeration systems throughout northern California, the remodel of MARK-STEIN BEVERAGE distribution facility located in Sacramento, California and design  build of VISTAR DISTRIBUTION, a 50,000 square foot cold storage warehouse.

RETAIL

Multiple retail buildings in the Sacramento valley including the ground up construction of PACIFIC COAST LUBE & WASH located in Roseville, California which consisted of multiple buildings, parking lot lighting, an automated car wash tunnel and utility work.  Tenant Improvements the company has completed include FAMOUS FOOTWEAR, AJ WRIGHT and the design build of MATTRESS AMERICA as well as various vanilla shell strip malls located in Sacramento, Roseville, Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield and El Dorado Hills, California. 


RESTAURANTS

Successful completion of electrical installation for several restaurant chains including numerous ROUND TABLE PIZZA and  PIZZA HUT restaurants, PANERA BREAD, PICK UP STIX and a design build I LOVE TERIYAKI.


MAINTENANCE AND COMMERCIAL SERVICE

We provide commercial service work and maintenance for a wide variety of customers including small business, military installations, military maintenance and 24 hour emergency repair for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom located in Vacaville, CA.
